UCHealth Improves Reporting Accuracy, Enhances Space Utilization and Management

UCHealth, a multi-hospital health system serving Colorado, Southern Wyoming and Western Nebraska, faced fragmented facilities and occupancy data across many sites and manual, error-prone CMS reporting. To centralize information and streamline space management—including integrating Autodesk Revit models—UCHealth engaged SpaceIQ to implement an Archibus-based solution.

SpaceIQ deployed Archibus modules (Space Inventory, Occupancy and the Smart Client Extension for Revit) to link Revit data to a web-based platform, enabling auto-calculations for CMS reports and enterprise move management. The result: centralized, normalized data across 71 facilities (18,712 space records, 2,285 employees assigned, 6.6M sq ft), faster and more accurate CMS reporting, and information-request response times reduced from hours to minutes. SpaceIQ’s implementation also enabled dynamic space planning and BIM-backed facilities management.
