A SpaceIQ Case Study
Hamilton County, Ohio, which manages roughly 3.5 million square feet across 275 buildings and 3,000+ properties, needed a reliable, centralized system for space inventory and work‑order management, better emergency preparedness, and improved health, safety and sustainability tracking. The county engaged SpaceIQ, deploying Archibus applications (Space Management, Emergency Preparedness, Real Property & Lease Management, TEAMS, etc.) to standardize space allocation (BOMA), work orders, and CAD‑based floorplan documentation.
SpaceIQ implemented a suite of Archibus solutions and custom web apps to provide web‑based access, lease tracking, hazardous‑materials and training management, fleet oversight, and a vaccine‑inventory tracking system across 32 distribution points. The result was more accurate space and allocation data, easier forecasting and vacancy identification, administrative/training savings, improved emergency response and business continuity, and measurable operational scale—supporting 1,200 weekly work requests and enabling plans to deliver vaccines to 850,000 residents within 48 hours.
