Travis Perkins, the UK’s largest builders’ merchants with over 1,700 branches and 20,000+ employees, needed a fast, covid‑secure way to return staff to the workplace and gain real estate insights. They required a best‑of‑breed flexible workspace management and desk‑booking solution that integrated with Google IDP for SSO, Google Calendar for room bookings, supported contact tracing and could scale quickly. Travis Perkins selected Space Connect to meet these changing requirements.

Space Connect reconfigured the Google integrations for SSO and room booking, then delivered desk‑booking across six Travis Perkins locations (with TP Group brand City Plumbing rolling out across 14 locations), providing interactive floorplans, reporting and analytics, and a self‑configurable, scalable desk management system. The deployment gave Travis Perkins clear utilisation and occupancy data to feed the Exec team, improved visibility of who’s booked which spaces, and enabled secure Google SSO — benefits Space Connect says will support a broader regional rollout.
