Tree Care Industry Association Automates Marketing Services and Collaboration on Sharepoint With SP Business Suite

Tree Care Industry Association (TCIA) is a nonprofit trade association serving tree care companies worldwide. TCIA struggled with fragmented communications and document silos—relying on email, personal drives and disconnected files—which made it difficult to capture and track requests, follow up, and find past conversations. To modernize its SharePoint platform, TCIA engaged SP Marketplace and implemented SP Business Suite on Microsoft SharePoint.

SP Marketplace customized the SP Business Suite IT Support & Help Desk module into a marketing ticketing system for request submission, prioritization, budgeting, calendar planning, templates and built-in workflow with automatic email notifications. The solution centralized resources, improved internal communications and accountability, made tracking and documentation far easier, and eliminated much of the time staff spent searching old emails; TCIA has since expanded use of SharePoint and SP Business Suite across other functions.
