Bridgestone HosePower, a hose sales and service company with about 40 U.S. branches and nearly 10,000 customer exemption certificates, faced a manual, fragmented exemption-certificate process that left the tax team blind to expiring or invalid certificates and exposed the company to growing audit risk. They turned to Sovos and its cloud-based Sovos CertManager to centralize collection, storage, validation and reporting of exemption certificates.

Sovos implemented CertManager, importing customer data via an ERP template and enabling automated validation, alerts and on-demand reporting to maintain certificates in a single online location.
