A Southland Industries Case Study
The University of Southern California (USC) required a sustainable and innovative mechanical system for its new Dr. Allen and Charlotte Ginsburg Human-Centered Computation Hall. USC partnered with Southland Industries to implement a radiant heating and cooling system that would provide optimal comfort while maximizing energy efficiency in the state-of-the-art facility.
Southland Industries delivered a unique radiant piping system for in-slab heating and cooling across all seven floors of the building. This solution by Southland Industries significantly enhanced the building's eco-friendliness and contributed to it achieving LEED Platinum certification. The result is a highly efficient, comfortable building that sets a new standard for green construction in academic institutions.
