PRN1 Data Center, a mission-critical data center located in Prineville, Oregon, faced a challenge with heat concentration in its data halls that demanded decisive improvements to its cooling systems without interrupting its daily operations. Southland Industries was engaged to provide mechanical, plumbing, and piping interior improvements for the 90,000 square foot facility.

Southland Industries' solution involved installing new exhaust fans and performing in-place measurement for ductwork, with fabrication completed off-site for efficiency. The work was executed within the fully operational data center. As a result of extensive planning and coordination, Southland successfully and safely completed all work without a single interruption to the client's ongoing, daily operations.
