A Southland Industries Case Study
The Los Angeles Football Club needed to construct a new, multi-use stadium to better engage its growing fanbase and compete with other clubs. Their goal was to create a facility matching the diversity of its city by including a conference center, restaurants, retail, and green spaces. Southland Industries was engaged to provide comprehensive design-build mechanical services for the project.
Southland Industries implemented a detailed HVAC and mechanical solution for the 22,000-seat stadium and a mixed-use building. This included building a new central plant with multiple chillers and air handling units, installing specialized kitchen exhaust systems for the restaurants, and providing hydrotherapy systems for the locker rooms. The project successfully met its goal of 35 percent involvement from certified minority, women-owned, small, disadvantaged, and/or disabled veteran business enterprises.
