Sotic was commissioned by World Sailing to undertake a comprehensive upgrade of its online properties, including its federation site, administrative portal, and its outdated rankings engine. The challenge was to re-architect these systems to be more efficient, cloud-native, and adaptable to future changes in governance, while also improving the user experience for both administrators and sailing fans worldwide.

Sotic implemented a full redevelopment using PHP-Laravel, Python, Golang, and Nuxt.js, creating a state-of-the-art multi-level platform. The solution included a highly efficient rankings engine that runs in under 10 seconds, a data-rich sailor profile system for fans, and a dual-dashboard administration system that serves both staff and the 200,000 registered sailors. Sotic successfully launched a new event site for the Tokyo Olympics and delivered a seamless, integrated web portal that manages the sport's complexities.
