STEF is a European leader in temperature‑controlled logistics, operating 230+ warehouses, 2,050 vehicles and trailers, and transporting millions of kilograms of food daily across 15 countries. As their mobility program grew—over 5,000 Zebra handhelds in warehouses and Archos smartphones for drivers running a custom Mtrack app—STEF needed a way to deploy devices quickly across Europe, lock them down to prevent misuse, deliver remote support, and push silent app updates.

STEF standardized on Android and deployed SOTI MobiControl to enroll, configure and provision devices remotely, enforce kiosk mode and DLP policies, and perform multi‑platform remote control. The solution streamlined monthly OTA updates of Mtrack, enabled fast remote troubleshooting, saved an estimated 2–4 hours per device and tens of thousands of man‑hours annually, and kept STEF’s mobile workforce productive and up to date.
