KIABI saves time and money with on premise EMM

KIABI, a leading French ready-to-wear retailer with over 500 stores and a large online business, relied on rugged mobile devices for inventory and store operations but was frustrated by slow, costly support from a managed services provider and aging hardware. Needing bigger screens, faster processors and strong remote support, KIABI chose Unitech PA700 Android devices and selected SOTI MobiControl after an RFP for a more flexible, on‑premise EMM solution.

SOTI MobiControl was deployed in 2015, converting existing licenses, easing the migration from Windows CE to Android, and managing packages, profiles and policies for more than 5,000 devices. The result: faster, cheaper change management (avoiding €500–€1,000 per change), full remote control and support to fix issues without shipping devices back, and the freedom to expand mobility projects like tablets and a digital workspace.
