JJ Food Service Limited is a UK foodservice distributor with around 700 employees, 200 trucks and five locations, serving caterers with frozen, chilled and ambient goods and reporting a £130M turnover. Its mobile field force used M3 Mobile SKY devices and Windows Mobile PDAs running a critical in‑house delivery app (JJM Delivery) linked to Microsoft Dynamics AX, creating challenges around centralized mobile device management, real‑time support, invoicing, software deployment and GPS tracking that were impacting deliveries and support costs.
