Dura Vermeer, a major Dutch construction and infrastructure firm, wanted to leverage mobile technology to standardize project task lists, improve real-time tracking and reduce errors across hundreds of projects. Lacking the in-house expertise to develop apps and manage devices, the company sought a turnkey mobility solution that included custom app development, deployment and ongoing management.

Dura Vermeer standardized on Apple iPad hardware, partnered with Cloud Seven for app development and support, and deployed SOTI MobiControl Cloud for enterprise mobility management (using DEP, supervised mode and VPP). Starting with 50 devices and growing to 650+, the solution enabled real-time reporting and streamlined workflows—most notably the AsfaltApp, which helped cut asphalt waste and saved roughly €200,000 annually—while outsourcing the entire mobility program so no new ICT staff or infrastructure was required.
