bpost, Belgium’s national postal operator with over 25,000 employees and 10,000 postal carriers delivering millions of items daily, needed to modernize its mobile fleet and support future IoT initiatives. The company was migrating from Zebra MC65 devices on Windows Mobile to Honeywell CT50s on Android and required a multi-platform management solution to secure devices, enable kiosk mode lockdown, simplify staging and asset management, and reduce field support.

bpost extended its existing SOTI MobiControl deployment to roll out more than 6,500 CT50s across 250 centers, using profiles, packages and remote control to accelerate staging and troubleshoot devices in the field. Kiosk Mode and a custom settings app kept carriers focused and reduced support calls, while automated parcel-processing apps delivered real-time visibility and productivity gains; bpost plans to equip all 10,000+ carriers and pursue IoT and Big Data projects with SOTI’s platform.
