3PL is a fulfilment and logistics provider serving over 40 retail and wholesale businesses from its Wigan headquarters. As the business grew, it faced challenges with a single-carrier delivery offering, limited IT resource for integrations, manual processes, and rising customer frustration. It partnered with Sorted, using its Ship delivery management solution to modernize carrier and delivery operations.

Sorted’s Ship platform automated label printing and shipping through APIs, improved reporting and proactive issue handling, and gave 3PL earlier visibility of delivery problems. The results were immediate: productivity increased by 200%, packing throughput rose from one order per minute to three, NPS improved by 1.2 points, and contact per order fell by 47%. Sorted also helped 3PL reduce exceptions and failed deliveries, easing carrier claims and cutting inbound customer service contacts.
