SORCE’s Engage intranet user interface improves efficiency

Citizen, one of the largest social housing businesses in the West Midlands managing around 30,000 homes, needed an interactive, responsive and user‑friendly intranet that staff could access from offices or on site to centralise information and improve communication across disparate organisations. Sorce delivered this capability using its Engage intranet, launching the group-wide Oneplace portal to bring all content and teams together.

Sorce implemented a fully responsive Oneplace site with central document management, microblogging, a ‘find someone’ contacts app and an event manager, enabling mobile access and real‑time sharing. The solution replaced group emails, made documents searchable by filename, keyword, category or department (now “two clicks away” to retrieve files), centralised room bookings, and boosted knowledge sharing—resulting in faster, more consistent communications, higher productivity and noticeably improved employee engagement across Citizen.
