Sorce bridges the gap between head office & 750 stores at One Stop

One Stop, a retail convenience business with over 750 shops and around 9,500 employees, needed to improve communication between head office and stores, gain central visibility of data, streamline processes and reduce costs. Sorce was engaged for the "Simpler Office" project and delivered StaffNet, an intranet built on Sorce’s Engage Intranet Software, to connect head office and all stores in a single digital environment.

Sorce implemented modules including Engage eLearning (replacing a costly third‑party), incident reporting, time & attendance and an electronic document library, all accessible via StaffNet. The result was centralised data and faster, more accurate processes, significant cost and paper savings (about £30,000 per year in eliminated third‑party maintenance alone), improved incident visibility and more efficient store operations — and One Stop is now self‑sufficient in developing its intranet further with Sorce’s platform.
