Silva Homes, a UK housing association with around 220 employees managing 6,300 homes, needed a new SharePoint-based intranet to align with its Microsoft 365 rollout and a wider digital programme. They engaged Sorce to deliver an easy-to-implement, easy-to-maintain digital workplace that would join up a complex digital landscape, improve teamwork and surface opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
Sorce implemented a SharePoint-based intranet (using its SharePoint build service/Engage intranet software), integrating Microsoft 365 and third‑party tools, a custom hierarchical search, HR/finance links, community areas, blogs and performance dashboards. The platform unified remote and office workers, improved knowledge sharing and employee engagement, standardized search so information is quicker to find, and delivered measurable time and cost savings across Silva Homes while making the site simple for the small internal team to maintain.
