Onside, an independent not-for-profit serving Worcestershire and Herefordshire, trebled in size and grew to 170 staff and 150 volunteers, creating an urgent need for a central information repository and better internal communication. With limited in-house technical capability, Onside chose Sorce for their SharePoint intranet expertise to design and deliver a robust, cloud-based solution.

Sorce worked with an internal intranet team to audit content, run workshops and build a SharePoint intranet named “Oracle,” which went live in July 2022 to all 170 staff and 150 volunteers. The Sorce-delivered platform now serves as the organisation’s central hub (accessible on desktop and mobile), restricts volunteer access to relevant pages, eliminated group-wide emails that clogged inboxes and materially improved efficiency and staff confidence in finding information.
