Connells Group, one of the UK’s largest estate agency groups with around 7,500 employees and some 180 branches, needed a modern, user-friendly and scalable intranet that preserved subsidiary brand identity while delivering targeted content and improving business processes. Connells engaged Sorce to provide an intranet solution (Engage) to replace a basic file-based site and to introduce features such as e‑Learning and group-targeted content.
Sorce implemented its Engage platform to deliver Connect, a central, branded intranet with subsidiary pages, strict document version control, management reporting and an integrated e‑Learning application for GDPR and Health & Safety. The phased rollout (piloting with ~10% of staff at head office) brought 7,500 employees together, cut manual admin (replacing an annual paper-based training workflow), reduced internal enquiries, improved efficiency for departments and surveyors (around 500 surveyors now use a single source of lender guidance), and drove increased engagement and measurable time savings for Connells Group.
