Amsafe Bridport, a global engineering firm of about 650 employees, needed a single, flexible and scalable online portal to centralise business applications, be accessible anywhere in the world, and let their team be largely self‑sufficient in development and administration. They engaged Sorce and its Engage intranet software to deliver that capability.

Sorce worked with Amsafe Bridport’s development team to build “The Portal” on Engage, integrating .NET applications and the ERP to deliver solutions such as change control (supporting SOX compliance), a support desk, purchasing & inventory, rejection tracking and outworker processing. The Portal is used across the UK, USA, Sri Lanka and China, automated previously manual approval and purchasing processes, improved reporting and ERP integration, and delivered measurable time and cost savings while becoming a business‑critical platform for the company.
