Intranet Supports Connection and Belonging at Moat

Moat is a leading housing association in South East England managing over 20,000 homes and around 370 staff. When the pandemic exposed the limits of its static, one‑page intranet, Moat needed a simple, flexible platform to deliver timely information, encourage interaction and support hybrid working—so it selected Sorce’s Engage intranet to replace the old system.

Working with Sorce, Moat built and launched the Engage intranet in two months (live September 2021), creating a central hub for documents, news, recognition and collaboration. The Sorce solution quickly became the organisation’s digital headquarters—supporting hybrid working and driving adoption with roughly 600 log‑ins per day—and significantly improved Moat’s internal communications and employee connection.
