Aston Lark engaged Sorce to build a central intranet after the July 2018 merger of two brokerages, aiming to join 800 employees across 19 locations, launch a refreshed corporate brand, and create a single communications hub. The challenge was to deliver a modern, user-friendly platform that could replace fragmented channels and bring consistency to internal messaging.
Sorce implemented the Engage intranet with a fresh design, searchable contacts directory, a training calendar, quicklinks, a “find an expert” tool and image-led news and microblogging. The solution connected all 800 employees across 19 sites, cut internal all-staff emails, increased engagement through likes/comments, sped up expert lookups and training bookings, and helped Aston Lark win “Best Intranet Design 2019” at the SORCE Intranet Success Awards.
