Engage intranet software helps ECA improve business processes, saving time and money

ECA (Electrical Contractors Association), a UK trade association of about 120 employees, needed to bring its three core business areas together, improve employee engagement and visibility of business processes, and reduce reliance on numerous standalone applications. To meet these challenges ECA engaged Sorce to deploy its Engage intranet software and build a central site, named The Hub.

Sorce implemented a tailored Engage intranet with custom features—most notably the MyPDR performance-development app, Active Directory single sign-on, automated notifications and mobile access—plus a consolidated digital marketing library and interactive staff hub. The Hub now connects three core offices and 12 microsites, has saved time in the PDR process, reduced licensing and printing costs by removing separate systems and paper brochures, increased staff engagement, and earned ECA a nomination in the 2019 Sorce Intranet Success Awards.
