Collaborative working leads to Intranet success at Reed Exhibitions

Reed Exhibitions, a global events organiser with 4,000 staff, needed a fresh, modern intranet for Reed Exhibitions UK to replace an outdated site and support remote/agile working. They engaged Sorce to deliver an Engage-based intranet and a Managed Service to centralise information, refresh the design and provide remote access.

Sorce worked collaboratively with Reed to build the REED-On intranet, combining an Engage specialist and Reed’s marketing expertise and using Sorce’s Managed Service to transfer knowledge and deliver customisations. The new site centralises documents and external systems, adds Quicklinks and video updates, and lets teams create and manage content themselves — resulting in a more user-friendly experience, faster information retrieval, reduced HR/Finance queries and strong positive feedback across the organisation.
