Startup 2 Standup is a peer-to-peer support network for entrepreneurs and business owners, founded in 2020, that had grown largely through word-of-mouth referrals. As they looked to scale beyond their existing network, they needed a more proactive way to reach a broader range of founders and business owners while staying true to their community-focused model. To do this, they worked with Sopro on a prospecting and lead generation campaign.

Sopro worked closely with Startup 2 Standup to define the target audience, refine messaging, and test email formats until the campaign began to perform strongly. As targeting was adjusted toward funded businesses further along in their journey, results improved further. The campaign generated 494 high-quality leads, with cost per lead as low as £20.25 for larger businesses and a 7.8% lead rate for the smallest target group, while also delivering prospect feedback that helped Startup 2 Standup refine its business model.
