Tomago Aluminium, Australia’s largest aluminium smelter with roughly 950 employees (plus contractors), faced growing cyber risk as its network and attack surface expanded. By preventing attacks before they escalated and taking routine remediation off the internal team’s plate, Sophos improved detection and response times, preserved production continuity, and gave Tomago’s IT staff the capacity to focus on higher‑value work.
