Tanglin Trust School - Customer Case Study

Tanglin Trust School, a non‑profit international school in Singapore educating over 2,800 students and 630 staff, faced the challenge of protecting a mixed fleet of campus and remote devices—including roughly 1,300 school‑synced computers and many BYOD endpoints—during a shift to remote learning. The school turned to Sophos, deploying Sophos Central with Intercept X Advanced for Endpoint and Intercept X Advanced for Server to address risks from malware, phishing and unsecured home networks while also managing human error and complacency.

Sophos implemented next‑generation endpoint and server protection plus centralized reporting, giving Tanglin Trust School visibility and automated defenses across about 1,400 digital assets; Sophos blocked more than 120 threats in a single month and contained phishing and malware at the device level. The Sophos partnership also supplies threat intelligence used to tailor staff and student cybersecurity awareness, strengthening the school’s first line of defense and reducing risk to its networks and data.
