Hoburne Group, a UK holiday operator with eight parks and about 250 staff, needed to strengthen security as its IT estate grew from a single rack and 50 endpoints to a distributed environment with roughly 250 endpoints and remote desktops. To protect endpoints, servers, remote users and large volumes of confidential customer data (GDPR-sensitive), Hoburne turned to Sophos—deploying Sophos Central along with Intercept X Advanced with EDR, Intercept X for Server, Sophos Central Mobile and Sophos Central Encryption.

Working with Sophos (via partner Storm), Hoburne rolled out the Sophos suite across its estate, enabling automated deployment, centralized mobile management and remote wipe, BitLocker key management and data encryption, and EDR-driven ransomware protection. The result: Sophos now protects ~250 endpoints and servers across the Group, secures devices used by a workforce where 60% work remotely or travel, and delivers easier maintenance and fast threat response through alerts and coordinated endpoint protection.
