A Sophos Case Study
Manipal Global, a multinational education group with more than 10,000 staff and 25,000+ students across multiple campuses, faced rising security risks from proliferating endpoints, fragmented antivirus solutions, limited visibility across locations, insecure Wi‑Fi access, and complex, unreliable security infrastructure. To unify and strengthen its defenses, Manipal Global partnered with Sophos and adopted its next‑gen portfolio, including Sophos Endpoint Protection Advanced, Sophos XG Firewall, Sophos Server Protection, Sophos RED and Sophos Access Points.
Sophos implemented centralized endpoint and network protection—deploying 10,000 Endpoint Protection licenses, XG Firewalls at nodal sites, RED for secure branch connectivity, server protection and managed access points—enabling coordinated policies, drill‑down visibility and automated threat response. The Sophos solution stopped malware across the group (no reported malware incidents), ensured zero business disruption, saved an estimated ₹80–90 lakh in deployment and management costs, and reduced IT man‑hours by simplifying administration.
