Norman’s Hallmark deploys 9 Sophos access points and delivers 30 Mbps wireless speeds across its facility

Norman’s Hallmark, a family-owned gift and card retailer, faced challenges with poor wireless connectivity and security at its new headquarters. Their previous solution resulted in spotty coverage, dropped connections, and a vulnerable network, which hurt productivity and forced them to often grant guests access to their internal network. To address this, they worked with vendor Sophos and their partner Net2 Technology Group.

The solution involved a Sophos wireless site survey to plan the optimal placement of Sophos Wireless Access Points, which were then deployed alongside a Sophos XG Firewall. This provided excellent coverage, consistent speeds of 30 Mbps, and seamless roaming. The Sophos solution also enhanced security by protecting against ransomware and isolating compromised devices, allowing employees and guests to connect securely and productively.
