Castell Howell Foods (CH Foods), a leading independent foodservice wholesaler in Wales, faced gaps in its firewall protection and poor reporting from its incumbent security solution across multiple sites. To address visibility and coverage shortfalls, CH Foods engaged Sophos and evaluated a Synchronized Security approach using products such as Sophos XG Firewalls, Sophos Central and Intercept X for Server.

Sophos delivered a Synchronized Security stack (XG310 Firewalls, Sophos Central, Intercept X for Server and Sophos Fullguard) that CH Foods deployed and configured in about one month and renewed for three years. The Sophos solution closed protection gaps, provided granular control, automated alerts and in-depth reporting, produced no security incidents reported since deployment, and is being rolled out to the company’s other sites—benefits CH Foods calls “worth its weight in gold.”
