A Sophos Case Study
The Benedictine Order of Cleveland, a 23‑user religious organization that runs St. Andrew Abbey and affiliated ministries, was struggling with fragmented, hard-to-manage point products that left coverage gaps, poor visibility, and slow incident response. To address this, they selected Sophos and deployed Sophos Synchronized Security using Sophos Central management along with Sophos XG Firewall, Sophos Central Endpoint/Server Protection Advanced and Sophos Intercept X.
Sophos implemented an integrated, automated defense so endpoints and the firewall share threat data via Security Heartbeat — allowing Sophos to automatically quarantine malicious files, isolate compromised machines, and block ransomware with Intercept X’s CryptoGuard while providing one-console visibility. The result is simpler administration, faster detection and remediation, protection that travels with users’ laptops, and consistent, automated protection for the Benedictine Order of Cleveland’s 23 users.
