Albury City Council, a regional NSW local government, was struggling with a major malware and spam problem: during an evaluation to replace its primitive anti‑virus the council was hit by more than 1,000 occurrences of three Microsoft Word macro viruses and was suffering large volumes of spam that hurt productivity.
