Nuvoton Uses Accolade® to Streamline NPD Processes and Make More Informed Product Portfolio Decisions

Nuvoton Technology Israel Ltd., the Herzliya-based R&D center of Nuvoton Technology Corporation, needed to automate its Stage-Gate new product development process after being acquired by Winbond and to provide executives with richer portfolio data to guide investment decisions. To meet this challenge, Nuvoton evaluated several options and selected Sopheon’s Accolade to align closely with its existing processes and reporting needs.

Sopheon implemented Accolade — including the Resource Planning module and access to best-practice libraries — to centralize project metrics, standardize idea intake, and support resource planning and real-time project tracking. The deployment delivered a smooth roll-out, reduced administrative burden, enabled faster go/kill decisions and clearer financial evaluations, and saved time and money for Nuvoton Israel as project leaders and managers adopted Accolade for day-to-day portfolio and resource management.
