WorldSkills International builds one connected dataset for 90 member organizations with SoPact

WorldSkills International, a global network of 90 Member organizations, faced a significant challenge with data fragmentation. Their complex operation involved gathering evidence across multiple languages, stakeholder groups, and event cycles through separate forms and spreadsheets. This made it extremely difficult to connect data, ask new questions, or understand long-term participant journeys. They partnered with Sopact to build a centralized, long-term data foundation to overcome this operating problem.

Sopact implemented its Sense platform to create a shared, centralized dataset for WorldSkills. The solution was designed to combine multilingual collection with imported historical data, connect participant records over time, and use shared definitions to make evidence comparable. While full network-wide adoption and measured results are still to be established, the planned outcome is a durable capability. This allows teams to ask flexible questions from a connected evidence base, supporting continuous learning across the entire global network between successive event cycles.
