Kuramo Foundation turns its $42 billion gender finance mission into a live dashboard with SoPact

The Kuramo Foundation faced the challenge of operationalizing its internal impact framework for a new gender-lens initiative. They wanted the program to run on measured indicators from its very first day, rather than attempting to reconstruct evidence retrospectively after launch. To achieve this, they partnered with SoPact to turn their framework into a live, usable dashboard.

SoPact implemented a solution that operationalized the foundation's framework across data strategy, collection, and analysis. Manual inputs were consolidated and mapped to a live dashboard, which was ready for the team to use from the program's launch. This provided Kuramo with a connected, real-time view of key indicators, such as the fact that one hundred percent of the fund managers in their Moremi Accelerator Program are female, creating a live evidence base to help bridge the gender-finance gap in Africa.
