Food for the Poor aligns M&E across 11 SDGs with SoPact

Food for the Poor, a nonprofit operating across Latin America and the Caribbean, faced the challenge of measuring its true impact. While it could easily count its delivered outputs, it lacked evidence on whether its work was creating lasting change in communities. To address this, they partnered with SoPact to implement its impact measurement solution, seeking to move beyond mere delivery counts.

Using SoPact's platform, the team built a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) model aligned to eleven Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). SoPact automated the collection, analysis, and presentation of data from baseline, progress, and final surveys. This provided a unified scorecard tracking demographics, income, and basic needs, creating a continuous improvement loop that allows Food for the Poor to see what to improve to drive sustainable outcomes.
