Jenkon, a U.S.-based web services provider, needed to accelerate network performance and dramatically shorten multi-terabyte database copy-and-transfer times between its co-located production and quality assurance environments 20 miles apart. To solve this, Jenkon turned to SonicWall, deploying SonicWall WAN Acceleration (WXA) Series alongside SonicWall NSA Series next-generation firewalls.

Using SonicWall WXA and NSA appliances, Jenkon cut its largest database copy time from 13 hours to 45 minutes (a 94% improvement), reduced bandwidth requirements by two thirds, and lowered annual connectivity costs by more than 22%. The SonicWall solution also sped support turnaround, improved replication between data centers, and delivered greater network visibility and granular control.
