Vistara Airlines Secures Email and Stops Data Leaks With Sonicwall

Vistara, the Tata SIA joint‑venture airline, was struggling with increasingly sophisticated email threats — including BEC, spear‑phishing and zero‑day attacks — after finding its legacy anti‑spam solution inadequate. To address this risk across its growing operations, Vistara engaged SonicWall and evaluated SonicWall’s Hosted Email Security (HES) for G‑Suite.

SonicWall deployed HES (with Capture Security Center management and Capture ATP services) across roughly 5,000 G Suite mailboxes following a 30‑day PoC. The SonicWall solution produced a drastic decline in BEC and spoofed emails, stopped leakage of classified data via outbound mail, and improved defense against unknown/ransomware threats — delivering measurable protection for the airline’s 5,000 accounts and simplifying email security management.
