Topaz Energy and Marine, a Dubai‑based global energy services firm with about 3,000 employees and 16 offices worldwide, faced inconsistent bandwidth, loss of access to critical data, and a network vulnerable to viruses and spam because prior firewall and VPN solutions were complex, hard to manage and costly to scale. To address these challenges, Topaz turned to SonicWall, deploying SonicWall Network Security (E‑Class NSA appliances), SonicWall Email Security (ESA) and Continuous Data Protection (CDP) solutions.

SonicWall implemented E5500/4500/3500/2400 NSA firewalls centrally managed from Dubai, ESA with 1,000 mailbox licenses and CDP 6080 backup appliances, delivering a quick-to-deploy, easy‑to‑manage, and scalable environment. The SonicWall deployment markedly improved bandwidth performance and network stability, reduced downtime and administrative overhead, enabled secure global VPN communications and higher employee efficiency, and included automated firmware updates to keep systems current.
