The Cloud, a BSkyB company and UK WiFi provider, needed to upgrade the content filtering in its mobile WiFi service as growth made scaling difficult and performance was at risk. To address security, scalability and cost predictability, The Cloud selected SonicWall and its Content Filtering Service, alongside SonicWall SuperMassive and E-Class NSA Series appliances.

SonicWall deployed its Content Filtering Service and appliances, cutting upgrade work by 75%, delivering twice the capability at a quarter of the cost, and ensuring reliable WiFi performance even during high-usage surges. The solution also provided additional security capabilities and simpler CapEx forecasting for The Cloud.
