Supermercados MIALICH, a medium-sized Brazilian retailer, was challenged with optimizing network security performance and selected SonicWall NSa firewalls to address that need. The IT team, led by Rafael Posseti, evaluated solutions that offered single-pane-of-glass management, DPI-SSL for encrypted traffic inspection, and an integrated VPN.

SonicWall deployed its NSa Series firewalls along with Capture Security Center, DPI-SSL and VPN capabilities, delivering faster performance, improved system uptime and better protection of critical data. As a result, Supermercados MIALICH reported increased operational efficiency, higher overall uptime and a 76–100% increase in blocked attacks, with the company stating SonicWall outperformed competing solutions.
