A SonicWall Case Study
Southeast Aerospace, Inc., a medium-sized aerospace & defense company, faced challenges providing identity‑based secure remote access for a distributed workforce and had evaluated/switching from Watchguard. To meet performance and security expectations for remote users, they selected SonicWall Secure Mobile Access (SMA) to enable secure connections to internal resources.
SonicWall implemented SMA with client/clientless and Tunnel/Web SSL VPN, NetExtender, Always‑ON VPN, role‑based access control, and Central Management Service with pooled licensing, giving a single‑pane view and simplified access control. As a result, Southeast Aerospace, Inc. reported being extremely satisfied with SonicWall, improved end‑user productivity (not quantified in the survey), better protection of critical information, and more efficient management of a globally distributed secure access infrastructure, with permanent remote employees gaining full remote‑office access.
