Spencomp Solutions, a U.S.-based managed service provider, needed to protect customers from rising ransomware delivered via encrypted Internet traffic while maintaining high network performance. To meet that challenge, Spencomp partnered with SonicWall and incorporated SonicWall NSA Series next‑generation firewalls, SonicWall SonicWave wireless access points, and SonicWall Capture Service into its security offerings.

SonicWall’s NSA firewalls and SonicWave APs (Wave 2 support with 2.5 Gb ports) delivered higher throughput, better streaming and bandwidth for hundreds of wireless devices, and stronger ransomware protection via Capture Service. The solution also simplified management—speeding configuration, monitoring and reporting—allowing Spencomp to broaden its services, improve security and performance, and win more clients.
