A SonicWall Case Study
Seceon, a specialist in automated threat detection and remediation, faced the common MSSP challenge of overwhelming event volumes, slow human-driven analysis, and rising breach costs that leave many organizations unable to detect and stop attacks in time. The customer needed a way to correlate North‑South and East‑West traffic, reduce SOC analyst workload, and deliver affordable, profitable managed security services using SonicWall next‑generation firewall (NGFW) logs and other sources.
Seceon deployed its Open Threat Management (OTM) platform integrated with SonicWall NGFW so OTM ingests and correlates SonicWall events and other logs, applies machine‑learning threat models, prioritizes alerts, and pushes blocking/isolation policies back to the SonicWall NGFW for automated remediation. The joint Seceon–SonicWall solution reduces detection and response to minutes, cuts per‑incident investigation costs from roughly $600 to only a few dollars per customer per day (example: about $8/day for three threats), enables multi‑tenant MSSP scale and delivers immediate ROI.
