A SonicWall Case Study
Seminole County Public Schools needed to replace a separate web content–filtering solution to better protect students, improve performance and reduce costs. The district turned to SonicWall, selecting the SonicWall SuperMassive next‑gen firewalls to consolidate filtering and firewall functions while supporting its growing digital curriculum.
SonicWall deployed two SuperMassive appliances in a high‑availability cluster, consolidating multiple security features (web filtering, malware protection, anti‑virus and intrusion prevention) into a single solution. As a result, SonicWall helped the district achieve 99.9% uptime, detect threats they previously missed, support up to 10 GB for digital learning, and save over $180,000 in OPEX in the first 18 months.
