Riggs Distributing, a medium-enterprise appliance distributor, needed to consolidate security and networking features across a distributed SD-Branch (main office plus three warehouses) and optimize network security performance. After evaluating alternatives, Riggs Distributing selected SonicWall’s Gen 7 TZ270/370/470 firewalls and SonicWall NSM to leverage existing SonicWall routers and simplify management.

SonicWall deployed TZ firewalls as firewall‑routers at each site, managed centrally with SonicWall NSM, and enabled features including Capture ATP, Gateway AV, IPS, Application Control, DPI‑SSL, integrated VPN and zero‑touch deployment. The SonicWall solution delivered greater security, centralized visibility and management, and streamlined deployment across the spoke‑and‑hub network connecting the warehouses to the main office.
