Pridwin Preparatory School, an elite boys’ school in Johannesburg serving roughly 445 students, needed stronger, easier-to-manage cybersecurity and secure remote access for staff. After using an IPCop firewall and an HPE wireless controller and later a SonicWall TZ series device, Pridwin sought a more robust next‑generation firewall and better traffic visibility—so they turned to SonicWall and its advanced security products.

SonicWall implemented the NSa 4600 with Advanced Gateway Security alongside SMA, SonicWave/SonicPoint, Capture Client and Cloud App Security, and SonicWall switches to inspect encrypted traffic, sandbox threats, block inappropriate content and enable secure VPN access for staff. The deployment delivered endpoint protection on untrusted networks, rollback remediation and consolidated reporting in a single pane of glass, giving the school greatly improved visibility, easier management and strengthened remote access and student safety.
