A SonicWall Case Study

Preview of the Orange County Rescue Mission Case Study

Mission delivers veteran services via secure wireless network

Orange County Rescue Mission, a U.S. non-profit serving homeless veterans, needed to secure wireless across a 250,000-square-foot site for more than 1,000 volunteers during a four-day event. They engaged SonicWall, deploying NSA Series next‑gen firewalls, SonicPoint access points, and SonicWall WXA and GMS to rapidly establish a secure, high-performance wireless network.

SonicWall’s solution was quickly deployed and centrally managed, delivering nearly double the expected signal strength, support for 200+ concurrent Wi‑Fi users and multiple virtual SSIDs, and robust security. The deployment helped the Mission assist nearly 600 people during the event and 29,000 over the year, demonstrating measurable impact in performance, manageability and service delivery.
